I have two requests. A friend and co-worker's father died in a hit and run accident. I'm heartbroken for the family losing a husband and father way too soon, especially right before the holidays. My second is that I am undergoing a medical procedure tomorrow. Hopefully it will be no big deal and I will be in and out really quickly!

Praise to God and our amazing church family for your prayers, love, and blessings. I pray for each of our church members and our community. Prayer request for our family....today as I was meeting with the surgeon at children’s hospital at briargate, I went into a very bad “hemiplegic migraine”. I ended up after much convincing being rushed to the ER. The EMT’s said in about an hour with me, I lost consciousness at least 9-10 times. I hadn’t felt good and so at the last second, I begged my daughter to go with me. Praise God for that because having her there with me and K’leigh was definitely God’s plan. My prayer request is for health. I often put on this smile and say...I’m doing the best I can. I will continue to do that as I feel we need to look at life in a positive manner and give this amazing life the best we can. So prayers for me and my family for my severe and many different types of health issues, hubby’s health (more shots in his neck this Wednesday), my sister’s children who are struggling with the holidays due to just recently losing their mama and my grandchildren, especially the younger one who just lost his father in a car accident as well. Blessings to our church staff and pastor and their families. We all truly appreciate each of you. I love you all. Stay positive, strong, and provide blessings to one another.

Please lift up our hospitals and medical caregivers in prayer. Resa and her staff are extremely overwhelmed with covid-19 positive patients. She is caring for seven patients all at once just by herself today. They've had something like 25 positive patients just this morning alone and that rate is rapidly increasing every day that she goes to work. Today was her day off and she was called in. That's never happened before. Resa asked me to spread the word for continued prayer. Thank you!

Please, pray that Jason & his family trust Jesus as their Savior and Lord. They don't believe God exists. Pray that they see Jesus is trust-worthy. Please, pray for me to have wisdom in my interactions.

I found out last week that someone I hired a year ago illegally dumped some of the garbage in a field instead of taking it to the dump as was what they were paid to do. I am having to hire a company to do the clean up because of my health issues and the location being unsafe. And the fact that I no longer have the info to contact the person I hired. Please pray that I find someone who can do the job and I can pull the money together in order to pay it. It is either this or get a outrageous fines from the city.

UPDATE - Praise Report to celebrate: Glen Boerhave, as of yesterday, has improved to the point the doctors took him off "End of Life" Care status. Because of this status, this past week, each of the three kids, Alisa, Greg and Rebekah got to go into his room and spend time with him one on one, the rest of us got to talk to him by video many times.  He is at peace, has been alert and cheery, no pain. The change in status has stopped the daily in-person visits, but we are trusting the Lord for his end of days, knowing the status can return any time.

Glen Boerhave, Family of Avenue Member, July 1, 2020 - 5:31 pm

Prayers please. Greg Boerhave's dad, Glen, was taken to Parkview ICU for breathing difficulty and weakness about 3:00pm today, July 1st. He tested COVID positive yesterday and has COPD complications. He has been symptom-free, except a little off his appetite. This morning, he started getting weaker and started having breathing difficulties. After admission, the hospital nurse said he is stable and resting comfortably. On a positive note, he is a very strong believer and agreed with going to the hospital for care. Thank you for your prayers.
